Is there a worse sport than NBA basketball? I have seen two games in person, including one in madison square garden when the Knicks were relevant, and they have both not been very good.

Ive been to every major sporting event, from horse racing to boxing to hockey, and all most college sports, and none are as bad as an NBA game.

I have no idea why i watched tonight or why i ever watch!

Agreed, only good thing about the nba is that you can sit pretty much court side for practically nothing in the regular season.

The officiating sucks, it was horrible tonight.

That still should have been a goal tending call. The rule states if a players hand goes into the net, or cylinder during a shot, it is goal tending. He even was in relief that it wasn't called.

Here's a novel thought--Courtney Lee should have made the shot, left no doubt about the outcome. He makes the shot--it doesn't matter if Gasol's hand is in the net/cylinder.

It's a tough shot--but if you want to win the NBA Finals--those are the types of shots you have to make. Instead of blaming goal tending, make the shot. And yes, it could have been called by the letter of the rule--but did it alter the shot at all? Watch the replay--it's highly dubious to say it altered the shot. I don't think NBA officials (who we've all come on here and said have done a bad job) are going to even think about making a goaltending call in the NBA Finals on the last shot of a game with 0.6 secs left.

Don't mention the fact that he AVG double figures the entire series against Boston until Stan Van Dumbass decided to sit him the entire Cavs series. Re**** may never be a full time starter in the league but he should be getting more minutes than he does. He has showed that when he gets minutes on a regular basis, he plays well and so does the team. It is hard for anybody to just come in 1 game, then sit for 5, then come back in for another and get into a rhythm. I don't care who you are.

And again, Blake should post a double double, he is a PG, SG's don't post many double doubles, especially when you are Re****. Apples / Oranges

I don't think the Magic are gonna win the series but geez the refs are making it easier on the Lakers, just give it to em.

One would think JJ would shoot the 3 better than Blake wouldn't they? He doesn't this is the dumbest argument in the world, Blake starts JJ doesn't, Blake has won at every level, including winning a national championship in high school. The biggest thing JJ has ever won is a AA state title at Cave Spring.

If anyone wants to blame the game on a non goaltending call. Did anyone see the goal tend that wasnt called by Howard against Gasol toward the first of game. His hand went through the net as well as the center of the rim to make a block on a ball falling into the basket. Using everyones logic on here, if that had been called then maybe the game doesnt go into OT.
